2026-10-25 @ 11:30
Museums are only for grown-ups? Not at all! On our 35-minute short tours, we explore exhibits in the Cathedral Museum together. Each tour is dedicated to a specific topic and presents the contents in a way that is suitable for children and young museum explorers. Slip into the role of an archbishop, listen to short readings about dragons and monsters or get to know saints. We playfully answer the questions: Who or what is a bishop? Why were there so many dragons (representations) in the Middle Ages? What were the roles of king, emperor and bishop in the Middle Ages? Who was Jesus Christ? Why are saints like superheroes? We ask for binding registration at info@dommuseum-mainz.de
